took a big step forward last season as he surpassed his totals from the previous season and looked more polished, stronger, and more physical. Nathan ended his junior season with 64 tackles, 11 TFLs, and a sack on one of the stingier defenses in Class C2 and started on the offensive line. Watching Nathan’s tape, I believe he projects best on defense, where he displays a great motor that keeps him running from snap to whistle. Nathan plays with good leverage when engaging blockers and has the lower-body strength to move and drive defenders off the line. The power and torque in his base also help him on offense, where he’s able to upend defenders and drop them to finish his blocks. He also does a good job of being violent with his hands when looking to disengage from blockers. Once he’s broken into the backfield, Nathan is able to show off some of his lateral quickness as he corrals QBs and RBs in the backfield.
