Nathan Malone Jr.
About Nathan
Expert Analysis
Connor Jackson | Prep Redzone Scout
Malone is a productive rusher who has built a good reputation for himself going into his junior season. He is a smaller, quick-footed scat back. His short-area quickness and suddenness are impressive and set his intrigue. Truly fantastic ability to create something out of nothing and dance around traffic. Malone is a fun watch and has production to back up the tape through his early high school years.

Nathan Malone Jr. Nathan Malone Jr. 5'10" | 170 lbs | RB/WR Smiths Station | 2028 State AL is a talented RB/WR out of Smiths Station who’s now ranked as our #26 prospect in the state.
“Malone was productive in multiple ways last season- he has a great burst out of the backfield, can easily withstand hits, and can easily slip out of tackles with how quick he is. Malone is just as reliable using his hands in the passing game; he’s quick to get open, has good hands, and can capitalize after the catch by making defenders miss.
I think what impresses me most about Malone is his ability to use his speed in the open field- he has great acceleration and can easily outrun defenders, making him a big play threat every time the ball is in his hands.“
Malone has already picked up an offer from UT Martin and will surely have more to follow soon- he’s a talented athlete set up for a big season this upcoming fall.
