Northeast’s Naseem Wertz Naseem Wertz 6'3" | 215 lbs | DL Northeast | 2025 State PA goes from WL unranked to debuting just outside the Top 200. Hell of a debut for the 6A All-Pub TE/DE. Like many on this list, I have a feeling this will likely be Wertz’s floor on our ranks, as the young two-way prospect has a ton of room to grow in terms of build. Standing at 215 and working offensive linemen the way he has on tape, I can only imagine how much of a force Wertz would be if he added 15 pounds of muscle. This is if he intends to play on the defensive front at the next level. TE is a different story but the young man has options. Staying at this weight would likely leave him on OLB/TE boards. His first rep on tape shows he can provide some pass-catching ability as a leaker TE. NE deploys a ton of speed on offense, not a ton of height/physicality, that is until you account for Wertz. Raw in terms of technique as an edge rusher. I’m excited to see how he hones his skills moving forward, as well as which side of the ball he intends to play for the Vikings as a senior.
