Glover was another unranked 2027 Linebacker who made the trip to Warwick to compete, and I was impressed with what the Fort Hamilton prospect had to offer. I liked his IQ, which was used to stop RB’s in pass coverage. His footwork and speed in drills, was Impressive as well. Glover earns a spot on my first team all showcase team, given his outstanding performance in Warwick.

Glover is extremely athletic LB, and he displays the ability to play all over the field. Glover is excellent in both pass and run game schemes, and shows a high IQ, moving North and South while watching the offense. I was intrigued by his footwork, which I noted, as he was able to make sharp cuts, and get in and out of his breaks faster than the other LB’s. Glover is a player who can easily play at the college level.

A prospect that I am curious to see where he ranks in New York is Mycul Glover. I thought that Glover showed some key indicators during indy of a strong player. First, Glover bend well. This affords him the opportunity to come to balance and not get his ankles broken. This was reinforced later on, as I thought he closed space well during cat and mouse drills.

Whether working downhill or opening up in coverage, Mycul stayed under control and showed the ability to redirect quickly without losing momentum. He was especially effective reading running backs out of the backfield, diagnosing routes early and putting himself in position to disrupt passing lanes. The way he combined physical traits with instincts and versatility made him one of the most complete defensive players in attendance.

With a bigger, physical frame, he still moved like a highly dynamic athlete, showing impressive change of direction and the ability to quickly regain speed moving back upfield. What stood out most was his instincts in coverage, particularly how well he anticipated running backs coming out of the backfield and positioned himself to disrupt plays before they developed. Mycul’s combination of athleticism and versatility drew plenty of praise from coaches in attendance, and he clearly established himself as one of the top defensive prospects at the camp.

Glover can line up in multiple spots, including off the edge, where he rushes the passer with discipline and length. Countless times he was able to knock down passes because of his length and frame. Significantly, he sets the edge with a high amount of patience but also aggressiveness. Nonetheless, a pristine ability to recognize plays and attack.
