MJ is one of the biggest risers in the updated rankings that came out the other week. He made an almost 150 spot jump moving up to being a top 120 prospect in the area and a top 15 ATH. MJ had a very strong spring/summer season and I got to witness that live at the National Preps Showcase in May where he was a top performer. Running a verified 4.57 laser 40, MJ has breakaway playmaking speed and it translates on the field. A threat to take it to the house anytime he touches the ball. MJ offers plenty of versatility as a prospect, making plays as a WR, RB and DB.

Currently holding an FCS offer from Stonehill, MJ is on a lot of other schools boards and should see more offers coming his way. MJ is a top playmaker in the area and could easily be moving up the rankings again in the future.

MJ was lights out all day long at the NP Showcase, dominating in testing and 1v1s. Running the fastest 40 of anyone at the camp that day with 4.57 laser 40. He complemented that with a 9’10 1/2″ SBJ which was towards the overall top as well. Later in the day MJ put that speed and explosiveness on display as he torched defenders in 1v1s for big catch after big catch. He worked out at running back but can play multiple spots at the next level. I know for a fact MJ caught a lot of colleges coaches eyes on the day as he came away with an offer from Stonehill. I expect more to come his way shortly as MJ was one of the top performers of any position that day at the NP Showcase.
