National Preps Collegiate Showcase: Top RB Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>National Preps had their Collegiate Showcase earlier this month. With roughly 200 of the top players from MD, DE, DC, PA, NJ, and VA with over 100 college coaches present from FCS-D3 to get eyes on that talent. Running the fastest 40 of anyone at the camp that day with 4.57 laser 40. He complemented that with a 9'10 1/2" SBJ which was towards the overall top as well. Later in the day MJ put that speed and explosiveness on display as he torched defenders in 1v1s for big catch after big catch. He worked out at running back but can play multiple spots at the next level. I know for a fact MJ caught a lot of colleges coaches eyes on the day as he came away with an offer from Stonehill. He ran a 4.63 laser 40 which was tied for 3rd fastest overall of anyone at the camp. He was also tied for first of all competitors in the SBJ with a 10'5". With a yoked up frame, excellent overall athleticism and the ability to make sharp, quick cuts - Kobe was leaving defenders in the dust during 1v1s. A good body kid, Justin is muscled up and runs hard with quick feet. He showed off that excellent footwork during positional drills. Strong cuts on a dime with quick COD movement. In 1v1s he balled out winning the majority of his reps with his ability to get himself open for easy completions. Justin goes full speed at all times, pressing vertically and stemming his routes well before breaking them off with strong. cuts. He then displayed natural hands by bringing in those passes for smooth catches and getting himself RAC. In both positional drills and 1v1s he explosive and twitchy with rapid feet. Getting through bag work with ease as he danced through them. In 1v1s Dwane showcased excellent change of direction ability and crips cuts in his routes. Proving too quick for LBs to cover, he was open consistently for the QBs to get the ball to him with ease for big receptions. Dwane is also very elusive with the ball when running or after the catch. With good lateral movement, he can jump cut, stick &amp; go and find the hole or space to get vertical for big gains.
