MJ Hansen MJ Hansen 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Burlington Central | 2024 State IL is a big offensive tackle who plays a physical brand of football. A true throwback offensive lineman, standing at 6’4″ and weighing 285 pounds, he boasts great size. Hansen, headed to Michigan Tech, is a perfect fit for their run-first offense, given their preference for recruiting offensive linemen like him. With versatility to play inside or outside at the college level, Hansen brings a valuable skill set to the team.

Another senior putting together a strong final campaign is the Burlington Central LT. MJ plays with devastating upper body strength. His first three weeks highlights are filled with his initial punch putting defenders on the ground and when it doesn’t, those heavy hands steer his opponent wherever he wants them to go. MJ has developed solid athleticism in his lower half as well. He can move laterally comfortably. He can get up to the second level. The big man is able to get good depth in his pass set vs speed. The exciting part is there is still room for his body control and flexibility to continue to develop and that will only make him more impactful in the trenches. I’m a big fan of this kid’s tape. Check him out.

Another impressive IOL prospect in the IL Class of 2024 is MJ Hansen MJ Hansen 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Burlington Central | 2024 State IL . He is a boulder of a man at 6’3″ 305 lbs. His play in the one on one battles went as you might expect from that frame. Hansen was as stout as they came on Sunday. Defenders looking to drive him off the ball had to redirect and turn to their counter move quickly. MJ’s hands and punch stood up the DL with the force they were able to generate. He also did a good job showing that he could slide side to side. Teams looking to bolster the interior of the pocket for their QB needs to look at the Burlington Central product.

MJ is a big IOL prospect from Burlington Central who has nimble feet and moves well in space. I could definitely see him kicking out to RT potentially once he polishes his footwork a bit and works on his pass sets from tackle. MJ will come in with a high football IQ as well as a 4.0 GPA, which is imperative for the offensive line and he should develop into a solid player down the road. Has garnered some serious interest from Miami(OH) and I can see more MAC schools knocking on the door in the near future. His Twitter handle is @mjhansen95
