His win by fall in the semi-finals sent him into the championship where he will look to end his career on top following a Level 4 playoff appearance in football.

The 6’3″ 205 lbs senior QB is another hidden gem in the state of WI. This game was full of them. The dual threat QB earned his first offer from Northern Michigan back in September. He deserves far more attention. Thompson has an impressive, quick release that gets the ball out of his hands in a snap. Even with the compact, quick release Mitchell is able to get behind the ball and put velocity on it. Velocity that stays on the ball even on deeper attempts. He is also a QB who can place the ball right where he wants it. He sees the leverage of the defender and puts it where they can’t get to it. On the ground, Thompson runs as hard as a lot of RBs. He can shake defenders in open space, and will finish runs. Expect that position ranking to climb after this season.
