Almond is one of the most underrated passers in the state heading into his senior season with North Valleys. Passed for 2,000 yards and 24 TDs as a junior. He’s a skilled, fundamental passer with good pocket presence and a strong, accurate arm. Carries promising upside in his physical tools and shows flashes of making plays off-schedule. Almond is an under-the-radar QB that should start to gain exposure with a strong follow-up to his standout junior campaign.

Almond was one of the most productive QBs in northern Nevada this season passing for 2,000 yards and 24 TDs. Strong-armed passer that can push the ball downfield and shows his athleticism making throws outside the pocket. Shows precise ball placement outside the numbers and does a good job of keeping his eyes downfield when escaping the rush. Needs to improve consistency in his pocket footwork, mechanics and stepping into his throws, but possesses some raw tools to develop on. Look for continued development from Almond as he heads into an important offseason.
