Washington got some big additions through transfer for this season and none bigger both literally and figuratively than former Musselman quarterback Michael Thompson Michael Thompson 6'6" | 175 lbs | QB Washington | 2025 State WV . The 6’6 tower will provide a big presence for the Patriots offense this season as one of the top quarterbacks in this class with a lot of upside and potential. Thompson showed flashes of great play during the second half of the 2023 season and should showcase more as a senior in his new program. He has great vision of the field with his length and has the arm strength to attack defenses at all levels. Even as a bigger quarterback, Thompson still throws with good touch on his passes and throws very catchable balls.

He’s another Patriot flying under-the-radar in his recruitment but that should change quickly this season if he has the type of year we expect him to have.
