2027 Watch List: Rising Stars and Players to Keep an Eye On!

“Crum is a physical man-to-man corner you can count on every down. He’s sticky at the line of scrimmage, has impressive speed/lateral quickness, and terrific ball skills he uses to track and break up/pick off passes.
I’m just as impressed with Crum’s skill against the run. He flies downhill, fights off blocks, and finds his way to the ball carrier to create tackles for little to no gain. No matter what opposing offenses are trying to run, Crum finds an answer. He’s an instinctual, talented corner that more people need to watch for moving forward.”
So far this season, Crum has racked up 8 total tackles (one for loss), 3 PBUs, one INT, and one FR.
Crum has been terrific for his team’s secondary. Do yourself a favor and check out some of his film below:

is a versatile defensive back that can line up in multiple spots in Mae Jemison’s secondary and make all sorts of impacts against the run and pass. Crum is excellent in coverage- he lines up all over the field but really impresses me as an outside corner, especially when he’s playing in man coverage. Constantly on film, Crum shows that he can cover guys one on one in crucial situations. He doesn’t allow for much separation, has terrific closing speed, uses his hands really well to jar the ball free, and consistently takes opposing offenses targets out of the passing game. At safety, Crum really impresses me as well with how well he’s able to provide support over the top. He plays zone very well and is able to bait quarterbacks into throwing the ball deep downfield where he is able to then capitalize and get interceptions. Crum is a super solid defensive back already as a freshman with a lot of great tape, he’ll be a key factor for Mae Jemison’s defense this upcoming season- keep watch!
