Cherry possesses a long frame with plenty of room to add good weight. He shows solid movement skills, successfully executing blocks at the second level and demonstrating the ability to get out and pull. He has quick feet and plays with good balance.
If he can improve his punch and become more violent with his hands, he has a real chance to take his game to the next level. You see flashes of a dominant finisher, and developing that punch will help put defenders on their heels. From there, he’ll be able to finish more consistently and with greater authority.
With his size and athleticism, if Michael continues his physical development, he has a chance to position himself for opportunities at the next level.

The 6-foot-3, 235-pound prospect can mirror interior rushers, keeping defenders between his feet in pass pro and displaying good timing / strike timing with his use of hands. Cherry has a solid frame with room to grow and add bulk.
