About Michael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

For my age I am a big RB (5'9 165). I have the strength and power to break through the d-line and the speed to outrun the secondary. I attribute my big play ability to my off season workouts with my father and watching film.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am self-confident but not cocky. I am motivated by beating the other team and passing my personal best. I believe I can score every time I touch the football and help my team win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have owned my own business since 2021 called MJ apparel. I create and sell custom t-shits and other apparel. I participate with the black student union at my high school. I earned second place at the 2023 business Pitch Competition by the Young Enterprising Society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I volunteer as a youth mentor at All Saints Catholic Church. As a mentor I help other young people develop their skills and expand knowledge regarding the church. I have been voted by the coaches and my peers as a team captain with Waukesha West football every year since 2019. As a youth mentor or football Captain I have to be able to communicate clearly, establish relationships and set goals.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Unfortunately, I have had to battle back from injury. After coming back bigger and better then the year before in the first game of the 2024 football season I broke my wrist causing me to miss the rest of the season. I had to stay motivated despite not being able to play and remain confident in my ability to return better than before. I was cleared to return to contact and made the basketball team

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to attend a large school no more than 8 hours from Wisconsin. My ideal school would have a good engineering program and great athletic training facilities. I would like to play in a big stadium in front of a large home crowd. I would like the option to play right away but am willing to work up the depth chart.

A Running Back that separates himself from the pack once he starts rolling in open field. Has that extra gear that the all fast Running Backs have, it just takes him a few steps to get up to full speed. Also runs track and and plays basketball.
