Expert Analysis
Sam Erman | Prep Redzone Scout
Jarrell is coming off his first full season as the starter, and he had an outstanding year all things considered. He’s comfortable in the pocket and can get through his reads. He’s got a good frame that helps him see the entire field. He’s got a high release that doesn’t get batted down. He’ll get the ball out on time and he’s fairly accurate. He’s got nice touch to his intermediate throws and won’t put the ball in harm’s way. He’s then a true dual-threat QB who can take off and expose the defense if they aren’t reading their keys. In year 1 at the helm, he completed 65% of his throws for 1644 yards, 13 TDs to only 3 INT, and then added 842 yards and 14 more TDs with his legs. He’s got the tools, looked the part, and seems like he is just hitting his stride.
