Brayden had an absolute monster performance in his teams 40-16 week 5 win. He is a taller back who gains a lot of downhill momentum coming out of the pistol. Kozlowski was able to have tons of success without needing to run behind any pulling lineman. Which to me shows he can lean on his own skill to create chunk plays without huge gaping holes. With his stature and playstyle, Kozlowski was a load to bring down. But He also showed some really good wiggle and agility to avoid tackles around the line of scrimmage. What impressed me the most about this outstanding performance was Braydens ability to pull away from defenders with his speed downfield. He finished with 235 rush yards and 5 TDs while averaging almost 8 yards per carry.

Brayden is a kid that I really like on film. Brayden is a big bodied safety that roams the secondary for his Gross Point North team. The one thing that really stands out about this senior safety is his ability to close quickly on the ball carrier and make a sure fire tackle. Brayden does an excellent job of securing the tackle and putting the offensive player on the ground and not missing. I am also impressed with Brayden’s ability to read the QB’s eyes and make a good play on the ball by getting an excellent jump as the ball is released. I like this veteran safety and see a big fall ahead for him. Brayden possesses all the tools you need to make a big splash this fall and I see him as a prime candidate to raise his recruiting stock.

When I think about the prototypical “box safety” in any defense Brayden Kozlowski Brayden Kozlowski 6'1" | 180 lbs | ATH Grosse Pointe North | 2027 State MI comes to mind. While evaluating his tape one thing really stood out to me, his ability to run the alley and help his defense in the run game as a sure tackler. Brayden has good size at 6’1 175 pounds and decent speed that’ll help his game translate to the next level. Kozlowski averaged almost 5 tackles a game as a junior which shows his hustle and his willingness to be physical the entire game. As Brayden continues to develop his pass coverage skills he will become a very pivotal piece of the defense wherever he ends up.
