About Micah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have been described like Patrick Surtain II. I have length, explosive, smooth, and able to make plays all over the field. I'm an athlete with the ability to lock down receivers and then have the quickness to score when the ball is in my hand.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a leader and a captain. I want to dominate when I'm on the field, yet I'm humble to encourage my teammates to be the best they can be.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm involved in a service organization at school. I am the reigning 2-time triple jump conference champion. I have received the Warrior Award from my team as being the heart and leader of the team.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a part of a leadership council of the football team and have been involved in leadership seminars. I serve as part of a community service organization at school where perform service to the local community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I was cut from baseball tryouts in 9th grade. While it was a setback, I believe God used this to open a door to track, which has been a blessing for me.

What type of college are you looking for?

A school that will challenge me both academically and athletically.

Crenshaw has excellent ball skills as a cover corner, as evidenced by his three interceptions and eight pass breakups in 2025. He can play off-coverage or get physical with bigger receivers in press. He’s rarely muscled off his line and maintains square shoulders so he can break on the ball out of his backpedal. He’s physical in coverage, so we expect that to translate to future productivity as a run-defender.
