North Rock Creek junior Memphis Burdine Memphis Burdine 6'3" | ATH North Rock Creek | 2026 State OK is a 2026 prospect that we are very intrigued by after watching him in person back in the spring. Granted, it was a limited sample but he still impressed us immediately and consistently. Burdine is listed as a quarterback, wide receiver and defensive back. Simply put, he’s going to be one of the best athletes on the field, every time he steps on the field. Last season, he emerged as a ball hawk on the defense, finishing the year with three interceptions. On offense, Burdine was a standout wide receiver. But he’s right there with Hawkins among the best athletes on this offense so North Rock Creek will get creative with keeping him involved.

North Rock Creek made their first ever playoff appearance last season and now they’re looking to take the next step. They’ll have a few players to watch out for this season but Memphis Burdine Memphis Burdine 6'3" | ATH North Rock Creek | 2026 State OK is near the top of that list. We watched Burdine in person this spring at one of the team camps and while it was a limited viewing, he did a lot to impress us in a short amount of time. First off, Burdine looks the part from a physical standpoint. And this season won’t be his first rodeo as he was productive last season for the Cougars. Whether it’s on offense or defense, Burdine has the potential to be an absolute star on a North Rock team that is looking to have that breakout moment as well.
