What impresses me most about his game is the patience he displays in blitz packages. He doesn’t rush the line of scrimmage blindly but takes a moment for the play to develop before choosing his spot and making a move on the football. The hesitation doesn’t hinder him; often, it helps him get past offensive linemen who are already engaged with another defender. This enables him to slip by unblocked and reach the ball carrier. When he is blocked, Oliverio has shown he can free himself and finesse his way out of the block.
