He has closing speed in space, is a sure tackler in the open field and shows that he can rush the passer off the edge with natural bend, an explosive first step and good timing when blitzing. Willis is a high motor kid that fly’s around and makes plays sideline to sideline while showing he can redirect against play action passes to get into space, and does a nice job at scraping over the top when making plays over the top. He is a no brainer next level kid at the D3+ level, and should draw interest from both the NWC and SCIAC conferences through his Senior season.
