The Clovis North prospect is one of the top northern California prospects, and is really starting to blow up on the recruiting trail picking up his first offer from Washington State, with others likely to follow suit soon. He is a two-way starter for one of the top teams in the state, and a true banger at mike backer that plays violent and covers ground outside the tackles. At running back, he is a physical and downhill blocker that looks for contact, runs tough behind his blocks and has some under rated third level long speed as well. Look for the CN prospect to continue to rise up our ranks in the following updates.
Highlights
The Patterson prospect enters into our WL rankings and deservingly so after coming off a solid junior season. He is a very athletic kid that can run and cover in space, while showing closing speed and takes good angles in the open field. In the run game, he sniffs out plays quickly, can scrape over the top and quickly get off blocks while showing open field tackling abilities and exploding through contact at the POA.
Highlights
Coming out of the Central Coast Section, he has been leading the way for Paso Robles for the past couple seasons, and is a no brainer D3+ player at the next level at either linebacker position, and has shown position versatility and cover abilities as well downfield and in the flats. He enters into our WL rankings and could find himself entering into the ranks over the next few updates as we get through Spring and Summer.
Highlights
Houseworth is quickly rising up the recruiting ranks across the Northern California region, and has seen the offers fly in over the past week. So far, he has been offered by Fresno State, Sacramento State, SDSU, Nevada, and Washington State and could find his home at either tight end or on the defensive side at the next level. Houseworth has elite speed, natural instincts, and is a violent player on both sides of the ball, and the 3-star prospect is a rare talent and one of the more intriguing prospects across the entire state of California.
