I use your speed like a weapon but my real edge is my IQ. I don’t just outrun defenders you outthink them.

Matthew had a good Junior season for Troy. His tape kicks off with a nice fade, leading to a 35-yard touchdown. A solid route, and great ball tracking leading to the explosive TD. Next highlight, Matthew has a great release, immediately earns separation, and finishes the play with a TD grab.

Further, Matthew had a nice game against Seaholm, earning a handful of targets on hitch routes. At 0:38 in particular, he does a nice job turning upfield and earning yards after catch. Lastly, Matthew spent some time as a kick returner (1:19) and did a nice job with those opportunities. I do see athletic upside, and he’s developing regarding contact balance and vision. I see that Matthew ran an 11.23 100M dash this past spring, which is very promising for a receiver!
