Like many of the guys on this list, Cole is a speedy 2-way guy that has natural talent that makes him hard to stop. His speed and acceleration are really impressive, mixed with some great instincts and football IQ. Both offensively and defensively, it seems that Cole is ahead of the game by a few seconds. He can get up field in a hurry and blow through some arm tackles if you don’t square him up. I really like him as a LB, but if you gave him some offensive touches, I don’t think you would be disappointed at all. Great overall film from Cole in 2025, and I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of work he has put in to take the next step.

Cole has developed into a productive two-way player for Troy. Defensively, Cole’s play speed has improved compared to last season. As an outside linebacker (on and off ball) Cole has improved his IQ, and looks much more willing to cut off rushing lanes, and take on blocks. Good, aggressive angles and sound tackling that rarely allowed extra yards. 1:07 is a great example of this- Cole does a great job reading pitch, dips through the blocker, and gets in on the tackle.

There’s also a handful of offensive highlights. At QB and RB, Cole’s play speed shows up once again. He’s a hard runner and does a great job running north-south.

Extremely promising Junior season tape from Cole. I do think he’ll find success this offseason when it comes to recruiting attention.
