The leader in Field Goals attempted and made resides in Maize, KS. Mason has showcased this year he has a special talent. Mason has gone 8/11 this year on FG’s with a long of 44 yards. As the weather in the state of Kansas starts to get colder, look for Mason to be able to cut the ball through the wind with his powerful leg. He most recently picked up an offer from Hutch Community College and should be on coaches radar.

Highly effective one-cut runner who shows the vision and patience to wait for things to develop before hitting the hole, showcasing solid explosiveness and deep speed. Very elusive player who has crisp footwork, makes sharp cuts and can make the first man miss. He’s capable of creating something out of nothing when faced with defenders in the backfield. Able to find pockets of space when working through congestion.

One thing stood out to me was Teague patience. Some runners wait until they see an expanded lane to accelerate, but Teague uses instinctive patience to anticipate holes and stay in lockstep with his blockers. Teague run plays were far from flashy, but the whole night Teague ran through creases as it opens, not after it opens. A running back’s tempo is incredibly important to the overall execution of the blocking scheme and can be the difference between a minimal gain and scoring play’s. Line-of-scrimmage tempo appears to come naturally to Teague. His patience helped him rush for 249 yards and 3 TD’s during Week 2 matchup.
