The Mustangs have quite a few interesting prospects to watch this upcoming season, including DB/WR Mason Cook Mason Cook 6'0" | 150 lbs | DB/WR Hempstead | 2026 IA . Mason turned in a promising junior season as he posted 15 tackles, a TFL, and two interceptions. Cook has limited tape, but really impressed in the few clips available. The part of Mason’s that stood out the most was his ball skills and aggressiveness when attacking the ball. He showed great timing when breaking on the ball and uses his hands very well to pick it or swat it away. Good change of direction and fluid hips allow him to stay in the opposing receiver’s hip pocket throughout the rep. Lengthy frame at 6’0″, 150 pounds, with room to continue adding mass to his frame. Lots of upside here!
