Powers showed why he is going to be name to watch this season at Bishop Kelly and is now going to be on the radar for many college coaches looking for a linebacker that really is physical. He comes down hill quickly and is able to impose his will on ball carriers.

Powers is coming off a stellar Junior season for Bishop Kelly, and was a big reason why the Knights were able to bring home another state championship in 2023. Powers checks into our rankings as the number five linebacker across Idaho, and inside the top 25 overall across all in state prospects, making a huge jump from his previous ranking. Powers is a hard hitting and rangy second level defender that is the excellent open field tackler and can take on blocks inside the box and provides good position versatility at both inside or outside linebacker for the Knights. He is a no brainer college caliber player, and is still awaiting his first collegiate offer.
