The ’28 RB did find himself a role in 2024, but there are extra carries available for him to earn in 2025. I would love to see him with more touches this fall, but in 2024 the highlights show an explosive athlete. One that can fly through lanes before an LB can close on him. The long speed is there to create the big play too, but his short area burst and agility have the talent level to be a game changer this fall. This is a kid to keep an eye on as he develops over the next three seasons.

Another varsity impact freshman is RB Marcus Brezgel Marcus Brezgel 5'9" | 180 lbs | RB/LB Shawano | 2028 State WI of Shawano. The 2028 RB was able to put up 300 yards rushing at a 4.4 average/carry clip. Even on the varsity field Brezgel’s acceleration, burst, and short area agility jump off the tape. He is able to get to top speed so quickly and hit the hole at full speed. Marcus does a great job of being a decisive runner too. He doesn’t dance around or sit in the backfield. He finds the gap and attacks. Even while receiving out in space the freshman catches the ball and gets upfield. The explosive athlete will be one to watch.
