The Utah Utes signee was one of the top offensive linemen and true road graders across the state of California last season and should find plenty of success in the Big 12. He has excellent movement abilities and skills to block both in the box and in space and has a powerful initial strike, creates immediate vertical push and a strong base throughout his run blocking progression. He also excels in pass protection with patient hands and does a good job of staying within his frame against speed rushers off the edge or inside. He was a multi-offer guy with scholarship offers to Boise State, Northern Arizona, Washington State and Fresno State among others.

Asiata is an outstanding OL prospect with ideal physical traits for the major D1 level. At 6’5” 330 lbs. he’s violent at the POA and flashes plus movement skills. A force at the LOS that dominates his opponents with good hand usage to latch on and finishing ability. Does a great job creating running lanes by moving defenders at initial contact with power. Takes good angles to his blocks with active feet to establish positional leverage before he engages. Like his ability to adjust to defenders movement to get to the spot. In pass protection, he’s quick out of his stance to get into his set and reacts with good balance and a wide base to maintain a clean pocket off the edge. He is Australian and the third player from California in Utah’s 2025 recruiting class.
