Malachi Wood Malachi Wood 6'8" | 280 lbs | OL Madison Central | 2023 State KY came into this past season as our top ranked offensive lineman in his class and he held on to that spot with a very impressive senior year. Wood is a massive left tackle, measuring in at 6’8″, 280 pounds. He is a mauler in the run game, exploding out of his stance and driving his man off the line of scrimmage. Wood also does a great job of getting up to the second level and picking up blocks in the open field. In pass protection, Wood has very good footwork, showing the ability to mirror opposing pass rushers off the edge. He also does a great job of holding his ground and protecting his inside gap. Wood is committed to Kentucky where I see him developing into a key piece of their offensive line unit.
