About Malachi
Expert Analysis
Rob Howe | Prep Redzone Scout
Osborne helped Des Moines Christian on both sides of the ball as a junior in 2025. He caught 12 balls for 215 yards and two touchdowns, which tied for the team lead. Osborne picked up 12 yards on his lone carry. On defense, he contributed 9.0 tackles, four of which were solo stop. He had a half tackle for loss. We can witness Osborne getting the job done during his 11th-grade highlight video. The first clip shows him bursting off of the line and streaking straight down the middle of the field for a long touchdown catch. On Clip 2, he runs a crossing route, catches a pass in the middle of the field and makes defenders miss in space before taking it into the end zone. It’s a well-rounded skill set at wideout. With his long arms and projectable frame his future could be at tight end. If he adds weight and strength in a college program, his speed, agility and athleticism would play up at the tight end spot.
