About Chase

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a dual-threat QB with speed, ability to throw on the run, and great read of defense helping me make smart decisions in critical moments.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a competitor who thrives on hard-work, commitment, and challenges. I consistently push myself to improve. I have a strong dedication to the goals that I set and make sure that I’m locked in to achieve them.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play for Iowa Zealots 7x7 club ball and played two previous seasons for Apex Air. I train 5 times/week at D1 in Des Moines for 4 years doing lifting, agility, speed training and football IQ.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m a natural leader on and off the field. I always try to help my teammates play better by doing extra workouts with them and work together so we can win. I have taken the S2 Cognition test and received high S2 scores (over 90%) for tracking capacity, impulse control and improvisational skills showing exceptionally fast counter-reaction decision making.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced the challenge of some coaches placing me in non-QB positions. Playing running back and safety has given me a better feel for how those roles work making me a better QB. I’m all about doing whatever it takes to help my team win, but my commitment is to quarterback.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am open to any college looking for a QB, but I believe I may fit in best with a spread offense program that is looking for a QB who is looking for has strong ability to scramble, great traction capacity, and improvisational skills.

A senior started and took the vast majority of the reps at Des Moines Christian in 2025. His exit opens the door for a competition to be his successor. After watching Harden quarterback Iowa Zealots 18U at the Back 2 Ballin High 2026 7v7 Tournament during the middle of April in Cedar Falls, I feel confident he’ll be firmly in the picture. He’s advanced for his age from a physical and mental standpoint. Harden was operating with a lot of confidence and a full set of tools leading to success. Arm strength helps him make all of the throws, fitting the ball through tight windows and pushing it down the field. Receivers benefit from precise ball placement. Harden moves well in the pocket, can throw well on the run and gain yards on the ground. If you’re making a list of breakouts prospects for 2026, he should be on there. Harden has a high floor and high ceiling.
