Allen was one of the most physically impressive defensive backs in attendance. At 6-foot-4 with a 6-foot-7 wingspan, Allen possesses rare size and length for the position while still moving fluidly in space. He showed smooth transitions in and out of his backpedal and covered ground quickly with his stride length and range.
Allen also had a strong combine showing, recording a 9-foot-11 broad jump that highlighted his explosiveness. His ability to use his length gives him a massive catch radius and allows him to impact throws from the free safety position. He consistently showed range on the back end and looked comfortable working in space throughout drills.
The rising 2027 prospect is coming off a productive junior season where he totaled 66 tackles, 49 solo tackles, and an interception. After a strong camp performance, Allen continues to trend upward as a prospect. With current offers from Texas Southern and Montana, expect more programs to get him on campus and continue evaluating him closely heading into his senior season.
Allen came into camp as one of the more athletic defensive backs on the field and backed it up with his movement skills and competitiveness throughout the day. Already holding an offer from Florida State Seminoles, he showed why he’s on college radars with his fluid hips, quick transitions, and ability to stay controlled in coverage situations.
During one-on-ones, Allen competed at a high level, showing confidence matching up against receivers and not shying away from contested reps. He displayed good recovery speed when slightly out of position and stayed engaged through every snap rather than giving up on plays.
Allen is an elite safety prospect with a rare blend of size, range, and instincts. Standing at 6-foot-4, 175 pounds with a long, lean frame and extended wingspan, he covers ground quickly and plays with excellent control in space. Allen is highly effective in run support, showing discipline, physicality, and reliability as a tackler.
His production speaks for itself, 66 tackles, 49 solo stops, and three tackles for loss as a junior. He processes plays quickly, maintains strong eye discipline, and consistently positions himself to make plays on the ball. With offers already from Texas Southern, Montana, and Florida State, Allen is firmly on the radar as a next-level defensive playmaker. He also brings athletic versatility from the basketball court, highlighting his upside athletically.
Allen showed consistent effort and strong route discipline throughout the day. In individual drills, he worked with clean footwork, focused releases, and good body control when changing direction at the top of his routes.
In one-on-one competition, he competed confidently against tight coverage. He tracked the ball well in the air and showed the ability to adjust to throws outside his frame. He didn’t hesitate to attack contested catches and finished plays strong through contact.
