His performance provides hope that a step forward can be taken in 2026. Phillips possesses a set of skills that could work on the defensive line, but he’s been developed and is more advanced as an O-Lineman. We can witness that when watching his junior highlight video from this fall. Phillips mixes sound fundamentals with strength and athleticism. His projectable frame is capable of adding plenty of good weight, which gives him a sizable ceiling. He’s athletic, which is evidenced by him playing for the East basketball team, too.
