He has the skill set to make big throws downfield and Gasperson pairs excellent pocket presence with the ability to throw accurately on the run. His athleticism allows him to extend plays outside the pocket, making him a dual-threat quarterback who keeps defenses guessing. Gasperson finished the season with 2,895 passing yards and 27 touchdowns, adding 382 rushing yards and 7 touchdowns on the ground. His standout performance earned him 3-5A DII District MVP honors, along with offers from Maryland and Georgia State, setting him up for a big senior season.

Gasperson has been a key factor for the Eagles this season and he is playing at a high level. He has the arm talent to make all the throws on the route tree and he can push the ball outside the numbers on rope. Gasperson has the athleticism to make plays with his feet in the running game and when he gets flushed out of the pocket he can hit open receivers for big plays. He had a monster game in a key district win over Colleyville Heritage 42-35. He passed for 387 yards and 5 touchdowns and showed that he is player to watch this season.

Gasperson is extremely accurate with the football, he has a quick release and his ability to complete passes into small coverage windows allows him to drop the ball to his receivers in stride. Gasperson had a great showing at the Flex Zone 1v1s, displaying his skills to make all the throws on the route tree and Maguire has superb touch on his deep ball with the ability to put the football in the right spot. Gasperson is a multi-sport athlete who is on the Argyle track team running the 100M and 200M events. Look for him to help continue the winning tradition at Argyle 2023.
