Maddux is an explosive, patient runner, he is shifty in space and he has a burst to separate from defenders at the second level. During the Flex Zone agility and footwork drills, Reid had clean footwork and showed that he can change directions effortlessly. Maddux has the ability to make one cut, shift gears and get north quickly. Reid has soft, strong hands and  he excelled during the pass catching one on one session versus the linebackers. Maddux was a key contributor in the Parish Episcopal offensive attack in 2022, which helped them win a state title. Reid rushed for 1,038 yards and 19 touchdowns, while averaging 7.2 yards a carry. Ball State, Penn University and Columbia have offered Maddux this spring, but you can expect that number to expand heading into the fall.
