About Maddox

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am an athletic, hard-working team leader with football intelligence and a nose for the ball. I put everything I have into the field and off the field. I am coachable and seek feedback. I wanna play at the next level.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love being part of a team and the camaraderie that I get to build with my teammates. When we play a game together I want everyone to excel and for us to win. I am willing to take on any role that will help the team win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Youth Group at my church, Drama Club, and Won Homecoming talent show 2023

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the last 4 years of high school football I have learned that people will follow leaders that lead by example and willing to do the dirty work side by side with my teammates. Leaders that talk a big game but do not back it up with actions are not effective. People do not follow them. I work hard to be a leader that my teammates will want to follow. 1 person is never bigger than the team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I feel like my most significant challenge has been learning how to cope with the pressure that I put on myself. I am very fortunate to have great family, coaches, and peers who have encouraged and supported me. I have found eating right, working out, getting good sleep and yoga helps,

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that will assist me to become a better student, athlete, leader, and person. Also, good food in the cafeteria would be a big plus!
