is a classic pocket quarterback who knows where and who to throw the ball to consistently. His ability to read the defense and throw the ball promptly is good. He also has excellent mechanics and footwork in the pocket. He is also a competitor who rises to the occasion when his team needs his best. An example was last week’s game against West York. In a back-and-forth game, Frey made several big plays. Frey can also tug in and run for big plays like he did in that game for a rushing touchdown. Frey is playing at a high level for New Oxford.
Highlights from the halfway point below.

is a talented quarterback prospect in the 2026 class. He has excellent mechanics and footwork in the pocket. His ability to sit in the pocket and throw the ball is excellent, as he reads the defense well and then delivers an excellent football to his receivers. Then, when he faces pressure, he is able to scramble and run around to make plays with his feet. Frey has a chance with a strong senior season, and he should get a chance to play College Football in the future.

is a stock riser in my book, and I think he should move up the rankings in Pennsylvania. What I love about his film is how he can make every throw. He is great in the pocket and constantly throws a good ball to his receivers. He processes the defensive looks quickly and knows exactly where he wants to go with the football. He throws one of the best deepest balls you ever see, as he puts the perfect amount of touch on the ball. Frey is an outstanding quarterback prospect in the 2026 class.
Played through injury to finish with 68% comp, 1105 yds and 9-1 TD/Int in 6.5 games.
Led 82 yard 2 minute drill with no timeouts to tie game in playoffs.
Honorable mention all conference.

continues to shine week in and week out for undefeated New Oxford. He was an efficient 14 of 17 for 207 yards on Friday night when New Oxford beat Warwick. Frey is a classic pocket quarterback who delivers a great football. In particular, he has a strong arm and throws with good touch on the ball. He is good at hitting wide receivers in stride. He is particularly good at throwing deep ball. Frey continues to play at a high level for New Oxford.

is a difference-maker at quarterback and he showed it off last week with one of the biggest wins in District 3 when New Oxford beat Cocalico 21-0. Cocalico the two-time 5A District 3 Champion was shut out in a surprised defeat. Frey was the biggest reason why when he threw for two touchdowns in the win. New Oxford improved to 2-0 on the year and Frey is one of the biggest reasons why.

has limited film from last year because he was stuck behind a Senior quarterback, but he flashed some good skills at the quarterback position. He does a good job in the pocket and delivers an excellent football. He has good mechanics and sets his feet well from the pocket. On designed sprint out passing plays Frey shows good skills as well. He does a nice job of sprinting out and finding open receivers. Frey is ready to take over as the starting quarterback and I am excited to see his progress this year.

is a classic pocket quarterback who throws an excellent football. He does a good job of reading the defense and making the right throws. He has good mechanics and can throw in tight windows. He throws a good football that is catchable for receivers. Frey also does a good job of scrambling around and when the play breaks down he can find open receivers. Frey showed a ton of skill at quarterback last year for New Oxford.
