A prospect I was excited to see this weekend, yet it turned out I was only able to watch FASSTElite one time. A shame, yet in that one game, Allentown Central Catholic’s

proved to be a tier above competition once he got the opportunity to catch the football. Awesome hands, hands that could catch far away from Martinez’s immediate radius. Burst and explosiveness a tier better than those around him, scouts who did get a chance to see FASSTElite raved about Martinez without knowing about his prowess on Friday nights. Had FASSTElite gone further into the tournament, It’s likely Martinez would have placed higher on this list.
After a great conversation with @Matt_Oehl13 I’m truly blessed to receive my first division 1 offer from @StonyBrookFB @CoachScottLewis @CoachJakeReic #AGTG pic.twitter.com/b9kzeSz1PH

Given a Division One grade prior to his call with Stony Brook. Said call ended with Martinez picking up his first scholarship opportunity. 5’11, 180 pounds. 3.2 GPA. Named ACC’s offensive MVP of the Fall 2024 season.
Will be representing FASSTElite
Here’s what I had to say about Martinez after watching him work in person this past October.
Formerly out of Dieruff HS. 5’11, 185 pounds. 3.4 GPA. Wowed me against Bethlehem Catholic a couple of weeks back, his two-way performance stuck with me despite the loss ACC took. Missed some games due to transfer rules if I’m not mistaken.
No mid-season tape because of the lack of games played. Has five single-game cut-ups on Hudl. Martinez is going to see a huge jump on our rankings solely based on what I’ve seen against Dieruff, Emmaus, as well as what I’ve gathered from my live evaluation against BecaHi. Very very close to a Division One grade, will rank beside other FCS-capable prospects.
Can play both safety positions at ACC, can play corner inside and out, can play wideout, can play running back, is a menace on special teams. An all-around fantastic football player who boasts some of the best awareness and R&R skills I’ve seen, especially from District 11 kids. Elite run support alley filler from his safety spot. The pursuit angles, the ability to read outside zone runs and come downhill without hesitation. An animal that wants to play with violence and speed. Toughness to play in the box, agility and athleticism to stay with offensive weapons in pass coverage. A back who can score from anywhere on the field, I like his future projection to DB/WR, however. Understands how to manipulate a DB off the LOS, good acceleration skills once he knows he’s got a DB beat. Not the most natural route-runner or strider, which is why I think he has a real future at playing FCS ball at DB.
No matter the projection, this is a kid that deserves more fanfare. Our rankings will relay my updated feelings on the junior playmaker.

is a very good overall player for Allentown Central Catholic. He plays both ways for the Vikings. Although he makes great plays on the offensive side of the ball, I love the way he plays on defense. Martinez comes down hill and lights opposing players up. I love the way he gets downhill to the football. Luis also plays extremely good in coverage. You can line him up anywhere on the field and he will find a way to make a play. He’s very technically sound in coverage. I believe this is a kid that will be a problem for offensive coordinators next year. You will have to game plan the ball away from him or he will make you pay in some way. Excited to watch him in 2025.

is a playmaker who can score anytime he touches the ball. Martinez recently transferred to Allentown Central Catholic from Dieruff. At Dieruff he was a difference-maker at wide receiver and a wildcat quarterback. At wide receiver, he shows big-play ability every time he touches the ball. He is good at taking a short pass and making a big play out of it. He also runs good routes and puts defenders in a tough spot trying to guard him. As a wild cat quarterback, he shows off his physical running style and his elusiveness. Martinez is a difference-maker athlete and a huge get for Allentown Central Catholic.
