On defense he is match-up piece. Playing as both an edge defender and linebacker he is an outstanding player. As an edge defender he uses his hands well. He has violent hands, which allows him to rip through the body of offensive tackles. Then as a linebacker he shows good instincts. He reads and reacts to the plays well and then comes upfield to make plays. Then on offense he is a good tight end. He is a weapon in the passing game by getting passes thrown his direction and making plays. He also shows good blocking skills. Hosak is a talented player on both sides of the ball.
