2030 West Carter (KY) OL Lucas Tackett Lucas Tackett 5'10" | 243 lbs | OL/DL West Carter | 2030 KY may not have the same length as some of the other top linemen in attendance, but he more than made up for it with how well he moves and his power. He’s put together nicely for his age, and it showed early during combine work, where he moved with fluidity and control. That carried over into position drills and 1-on-1s, where he consistently stayed square and mirrored with his man. Tackett plays with natural leverage and bend, which allows him to win positioning and hold it. His hands were strong and well-placed, and once he latched on, he controlled reps with his grip strength. He also showed the ability to anchor when challenged and kept his feet active throughout. Tackett delivered a really solid, well-rounded performance as a naturally athletic, strong young lineman.
