The 6’3, 220 lb. Orono Spartans DE and OT caught my eye as a sophomore defensive end and has improved his skillset and athletic numbers in the last offseason. Can beat blockers with quickness or strength, work off double teams, and impact the run and pass game from his 5T spot. His strong initial punch or counter attacks with his hands help him separate from blockers and find/destroy the ball with good closing speed, and if the man in front of him is smaller than Schleeter than he’s simply too athletic to handle. As mentioned, there’s a good variety of blockers getting beaten in his junior DE tape and in a diverse set of ways as well. Also was a strong OT on the Spartans offense.
