is a good defensive player who played as a safety last season. As a strong safety, he shows a good ability to play close to the line of scrimmage. He is excellent at setting the edge and making plays near the line of scrimmage. Then, as a free safety, he has good deep coverage skills. His ability to drop deep and take away passing lanes is impressive. He also shows a good ability to tackle in the open field. Palaia is a proven player at both defensive back positions.
