Logan Mollenkopf Logan Mollenkopf 6'1" | 180 lbs | WR Caston | 2028 State IN is a starting wideout for Caston. A great small-school prospect, he is a good receiver who can snatch the ball out of the air and be a threat on the perimeter. Like Lannan, he has good size for the position with a rocked-up frame. Also a strong hoops player and a standout on the hardwood who moves well, translating to success on the gridiron.

Mollenkopf quietly put together a solid freshman year and showed flashes of what’s to come. He received valuable reps early, made plays throughout the year, and started to come on as the season progressed. He’s got a big frame that fits well on the outside and moves fluidly for his size. With that kind of foundation already in place, it’s easy to see him becoming a go-to target and one of the focal points of their offense over the next three seasons.

Mollenkopf possesses traits to develop as an outside receiver and that’s how he began his high school career. He earned trust throughout the season and was one of their big play guys. He got better later in the year, but the offense struggled at times. Mollenkopf can win on the outside and make those contested grabs. He finished his freshman season with 22 grabs for 420 yards and 3 TDs.

While he hasn’t put up huge numbers, being involved as a freshman and actively in the coaching plans is good to see. Mollekopf has been involved in every single game to this point and is someone they see the potential with, so they aren’t overloading him. He’s scored a TD in 2 of his first 4 games and each one was different. He’s also active on defense and showing promise there as well. Maybe it’s his basketball background, but he seems to see things developing and can cut them off. With 11 tackles and 2 passes deflected on top of his 170 yards and 2 TDs through the air, Mollenkopf is right on track.
