Tomlinson and the Juggernauts have a battle of two undefeated teams ahead of them this week against Murray.

He does a great job of diagnosing the play quickly then using his speed to get to the ball carrier before they can get going. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he does a good job of running his feet through contact to secure the tackle, finishing this past season with 107 tackles and 19 tackles for loss in 12 games. He has also proven to be reliable when asked to blitz, timing the snap count perfectly to shoot through his gap to get to the passer, finishing his freshman year with five sacks. Tomlinson also came away with one interception and returned it for a touchdown as a freshman. Lincoln has received some college interest and I expect his recruitment to continue to heat up heading into his sophomore year.

Tomlinson lines up at outside linebacker where he is very reliable against the run. He reads the play quickly and uses his speed to blow right by opposing offensive linemen to get to the ball carrier and make the tackle in the open field. Lincoln currently leads his team with 61 tackles and 12 tackles for loss in six games. He has also come away with two sacks so far this season. Tomlinson doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch as he continues to develop.
