Peterson is a smooth athlete with potential on both sides of the ball and the ability to help on special teams as well. I like what he brings defensively. He has good instincts, breaks on the football well, and does a nice job swiping through the hands of receivers to knock passes away. He doesn’t play too handsy or put himself in bad positions, which lets him stay disciplined in coverage. The game seems to come naturally to him, and I can see him being someone who develops nicely long-term in the backend.

Peterson is a long, lean player who caught my attention. There is plenty of room for him to get bigger and fill out, but his length works in his favor, even if he plays as a featherweight. He leans well at the top of his route to work across the field. He made several acrobatic grabs in the air, putting his body control on display. He has a basketball background, and WRs with a basketball background have a good track record, so there is reason to be bullish on the upside here.
