Still raw as a sophomore, but Lincoln has plenty of traits to like. First of all, and most obvious, Boyd passes the eye test. On tape, he looks big and he looks extremely physical. Working on defensive linemen in his gap, he fires off and is able to completely overwhelm weaker defensive linemen. He has started to prove he can be a great run blocker. I think this offseason he needs to grind it out and work on agility and pass blocking to become that well rounded player it’s looking like he could eventually be. He has a real opportunity to impress this offseason with the right amount of work and technique tweaking!
