Piccinin is dominant in the slot back role where his running start combined with his elite quickness and change of direction make him a special route runner. Piccinin can create separation at all three levels of the field and is a dangerous threat after the catch because of his athletic ability. Piccinin as a defender also showcases good tackling technique and the willingness to come down hill and be physical in making tackles. Piccinin is one of the best athletes in all of Canada but especially in Alberta, his athleticism shines on tape and countless reps are showcasing just how elite that athleticism is.
