WR Liam Matthews Liam Matthews 5'8" | 140 lbs | RB NV emerged as one of the more intriguing wide receiver prospects at camp thanks to a strong combination of explosiveness, speed, and advanced receiving instincts. Matthews posted excellent testing numbers, finishing 8th in the 40-yard dash (5.10) while recording an outstanding 8’6” broad jump, good for 3rd overall, highlighting his lower-body power and burst. When paired with his impressive 6-foot wingspan, those traits make him a highly accessible and reliable target in the passing game despite his current frame.

What stands out most about Matthews is how polished he already looks as a route runner and coverage reader. He consistently showed the awareness to diagnose secondary looks pre- and post-snap, finding soft spots in zone coverage and presenting himself as an easy window for quarterbacks. His hands were another major strength, as he routinely secured passes in traffic and came down with throws in tight coverage that many receivers at this level would struggle to finish. That combination of timing, ball skills, and body extension makes him particularly difficult to defend. As he continues to grow and add strength, Matthews projects as an even tougher matchup, especially because he already understands how to use his length and athleticism to create advantages against smaller defensive backs.
