Another new name to the site. A 6’1, 200 pound, well built linebacker prospect who could potentially play box safety at the next level. He carries an impressive 4.2 GPA and is currently unranked. There is plenty of tape readily available between Twitter and Hudl.
He visited Allegheny College in mid September, and I applaud his willingness to network. He also took a game day visit to Seton Hill in early September. Good job by both of those programs for identifying a local talent.
He racked up 15 tackles while adding four receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown in his Week 1 matchup against Aliquippa. I encourage him to get a midseason tape out as soon as possible, but I peeked into his Week 5 tape to get a better feel for the type of player he is. I might have to add tight end to his profile as well considering his offensive production.
His first rep has him working in space away from the box at linebacker. He is operating in zone coverage, which allows him to see a screen developing in front of him. He attacks it and blows the play up without hesitation.
Later in the tape, I see him with his hand off the dirt in an outside linebacker role, essentially playing on the line of scrimmage. On one rep, he proactively attacks an incoming blocker, sheds inside, sniffs out the run and records a tackle for loss.
His third rep comes from the same alignment and might be his most impressive. He destroys a back who attempts to block him, stands his ground and sniffs out the quarterback on what looks like some type of draw or quarterback sweep. Really impressive rep that showcases his overall physicality and power.
Later in the tape, you see more of him working in zone coverage. I’m impressed by how comfortable he is in space. He nearly records an interception 15 yards downfield on a seam ball, showing legitimate coverage ability on top of everything he brings against the run.
This is a rankable player who can rush, cover and is on the brink of elite run stopping status.

is a good outside linebacker. He does a nice job of playing in space. He had 15 tackles in this past week’s game. He was all over the field making tackles. He is especially good at making open-field tackles. On offense, he is a good tight end. He had 4 catches and scored a touchdown. He catches the ball well in traffic; Corcoran is a talented player on both sides of the ball.
