6’3, 290-pound 2027 IOL prospect out of Phillips Exeter Academy. Carries a 4.09 GPA.
Current Ranking and Potential Bump: Already ranked relatively well, a spot I like for Chatham. The senior out of PEA could have earned a boost nonetheless, this based on his performance I was able to catch for a brief time last week. Love the attention to detail Chatham paid to both coaches around him providing feedback, as well as toward his technique with each rep. Chatham looked like a seasoned senior, that he is. Nothing looked like a surprise to him, wasn’t caught off guard from coaching or new drills, I hope coaches caught on to his maturity, let alone his skill set beside other OL present. We’ll see what offers Chatham picks up post POST GRAD year announcement.

Lex Chatham Lex Chatham 6'4" | 290 lbs | OL Phillips Exeter Academy | 2027 State New E is the son of former NFL linebacker Matt Chatham, so he has a football pedigree. Chatham spent last season at King Phillip Regional High School in Wrentham, Mass., and will take a postgraduate year and play for Phillips Exeter Academy next season. He currently has offers from Division II Franklin Pierce and Division II Bentley. Chatham has the right size to play offensive line at the college level and has a frame that can handle additional weight if needed. He’s quick off the line of scrimmage at the snap and is a good drive blocker in the run game. One of his best traits is that he stays engaged with defenders and plays to the whistle, something not many high school offensive linemen do. He showed good footwork and technique when pass blocking, but his highlights featured a limited number of pass plays. Based on his demeanor, he appears to have the toughness coaches like to see in offensive linemen. Chatham can work on improving his balance and staying on his feet when engaged with a defender, especially since he will soon be playing against players closer to his size. He will likely benefit from the better competition he will face at Phillips Exeter and should continue to work on his strength and footbwork/technique.
