is an excellent athlete in the 2027 class. He played both linebacker and running back last season. As a linebacker, you see a player with good instincts, and when he reads the play, he goes downhill and attacks well. He is also a good linebacker at running sideline-to-sideline, chasing plays all over the field. He is a good tackler as well, who rarely misses a tackle. Then, on offense, he returned a kickoff for a touchdown. On that play, you saw his speed and his vision. He also played running back, displaying a good ability to run hard and make defenders miss. He also has good speed to run past defenders. Porter is a great athlete in 2027 who has up to 10 offers. I expect more to come his way.
Blessed to have received 10 offers! @CoachSmetanka @TerronColson @braydenboggs pic.twitter.com/HzsK0NHe02

is the green dot on the defense for The Kiski School. On tape you notice right away how athletically gifted Porter is. His first read step is quick and holds purpose, following his read step once he has quickly made his read chances are he’s already making the play. Porter is a sideline to sideline linebacker and he is probably faster than most on the field. Porter recently picked up his first offer last month from Eastern Michigan, and will likely tag on more going into his junior season.

is a good athlete who can score anytime he touches the ball. He played as both a running back and a linebacker last year for Kiski Prep. As a linebacker, he is a true sideline-to-sideline player. He makes plays all over the field. He is excellent at reading the quarterback and making interceptions. Then he is such a good athlete that he can return them for touchdowns. As a running back, he shows off electric speed, and if he gets a seam, he is off to the end zone. He is also a physical running back who is hard to bring down. Porter is an excellent athlete whose recruitment is starting to heat up. He recently visited James Madison.

Formerly out of Indiana Area. Ranked relatively well. Now lists at 6’2, 205 pounds. Boasts some fantastic combine numbers, those numbers (39″ vert, 4.5 40-time) translate onto the turf.
Porter is coming off a monster game against the Potomac School. Two interceptions returned for scores in one game should be praised regardless of overall outcome. Tack on a 100-yard kickoff return for a score, as well as a carry that went for a 70+ yard touchdown. If you’re interested in recruiting

work close to home, I came away impressed.
Against Penn Charter, Porter didn’t go off for multiple scores, yet I could still see the athlete in him, the one that graded near the Division One threshold (203rd rank). Porter manned an inside backer spot, doing what he could to stop a Penn Charter run game that tore through Kiski Prep for the most part. Porter had a TFL if I do recall. Porter registered a ton of hustle plays too, effort is always put forth. Porter was witnessed aligning head-up in pretty much any gap between the tackles, even at the LOS at times. Kiski likes to get creative with his pre-snap alignments. Porter was held in check from a rushing attack perspective. Penn Charter got off their blocks and were able to clog running lanes left and right. Porter, however, was a late-tackle away from scoring at least three times via kick return. Penn Charter would likely receive an extensive talking to after their performance attempting to bottle up Porter on special teams.
Porter’s rank/grade suggests he’s an FCS-ceiling type of prospect. I like that projection for now, this without much of a look at what he’s done so far for Kiski Prep. Porter is well on his way to keeping the previously given grade. Porter is a likely snag at the D2 level, yet his ceiling reaches interest from in-state FCS programs. Position versatility outside of LB/RB interested me as well. I don’t think WR/S or even TE is out of the question depending on how his body continues to grow.

is a difference-maker athlete on the football field. Last year he played as a running back and as a wide receiver. At both positions, he showed good athletic ability and speed. At both positions, he can score anytime he touches the ball. As a running back he shows a physical running style. When he hits the hole, he is hard to bring down and then when he gets into the open field, he is off to the races. As a wide receiver, he showed he can catch the ball and make defenders miss in space. Porter is a terrific football player who has all the skills to play at a high level.
